Blue and White Love

Imagine coming home to open this gorgeous blue door. Just look at that gorgeous door knocker. Did I just say "gorgeous" and "door knocker" in the same sentence?

Its Going To Be All White!

Today I discovered a new blog to add to my favorites . I have been thinking a lot about drapes as dividers to rooms and I love this image of Amsale Aberra's loft in New York as posted by Christelle.

As I clicked through Older Posts, I also found photgraphs below by Daniella MacAdden. I have completely relapsed into my white floor obsession. Check these beautiful images of an Argentinian interior. I love the contrast of the purple and yellow against the white back drop. I can have white floors with 4 kids and a dog can't I?

Lund Lund

Too gorgeous not to post. See Swedish photographer Lund Lund for more images that will make you melt.

I found these 2 divine images in my files this morning and had to post them. The file says "maison 10" I think I found them on Pink Wallpaper, but I am really not sure. I will find out and attribute correctly.

Can you imagine having a living room this beautiful? I adore the rose drapes pooling on the painted floor, and those palladian doors! Oh my!

The juxtaposition of the industrial concrete wall and floor and the pink silk upholstered French sofa is to die for! Oh and if anyone has a source for the white chandelier in the image above, I would love it!

The images below are of my finds at the St Joseph's Antique Fair on Saturday. I had such fun fossicking with The Huntress and her mom for nothing in particular and I love my little collection of mismatched white Chinese figurines.

The Huntress and her mom advised me to grab a little "poison", so I purchased my lone blue foo dog. My children say he scares them, so I told them not to look at him. I love him!

I was also so lucky to grab these pretty little Japanese prints. The palette is just perfect for my living room. So sweet!

Personalized Stationary

My brother in law Matt, recently married the lovely Emma at a gorgeous ceremony in Broke, NSW Australia. So inspired was I by the pretty little church where it all took place, that I painted a small acrylic painting as a gift and had personalized thank you cards made for them.

Amy Butler

It is no secret that I do get stuck on a theme. This week, its pillows! I am in search of pillows for all the comfy zones in our home. The irony here is that I rarely ever sit down in any of these zones. I do have to look at them though, so they may as well be pretty!!!!

Amy Butler has just about the prettiest fabrics about and I have an etsy shopping cart full of pillows made using her sweet sweet designs.

The lifestyle images on her website are delicious. Her fabrics are gorgeous, not to mention her rugs. Now which rug should I get? I am thinking the last one hmmmm.

A Beach Cottage

I have discovered this a new blog today by Sarah Redding, courtesy of Artful Blogging Magazine. Its called A Beach Cottage. It chronicles her restoration of a beach cottage in Australia. Just look at some of these sumptuous images. I am in love!

Ledges for artwork and mirrors. Ther perfect solution for someone like me who rearranges stuff compulsively.

Makes me want to paint this last image. If only I had the time!!!!!!

Makes me want to take off the beach!
